About this deal

Their enthusiasm concerning the product range, with the potential to offer only the best product together with the excellent assistance through sponsorship investments in sports championships has made the brand more recognizable throughout the world.

The bottom buckle may often trap small twigs or pieces of dirt - a Polyurethene deflector in a triangle shape - is fitted to ensure this doesn't happen. This has permitted to make a “made in Europe” product with only the highest standard quality; naturally the production is followed and monitored by Italian personnel. I have wide calves, the boot straps had plenty of adjustment but not much overlap though this may change as the boots loosen up. As I got more off road experience, I realised that my Adventure boots were not providing me the protection I wanted. Slide your feet inside the polymer, memory foam inner and overtime the padding will mould to their shape for a comfortable, supported environment. The Adventure Dry is a pretty tough and rugged boot, but it treads a fine line between the road and the rough stuff. I quickly got used to the “stiffness” and to be honest I rode and walked in them from morning to evening and they were just fine in terms of comfort. The sole unit offers enough stiffness in the arch of the foot to make standing on the pegs for prolonged periods comfortable, though the forefoot and heel areas are slightly soft which adds to all-day comfort. they would be uncomfortable for shifting the gear from out my position on my motorbike – which is essentially important and also a safety issue when riding motorbike. The personalised Forma Drytex tubular lining incorporates a waterproof and breathable membrane, ensuring comfort in various weather conditions.

When it comes to stability, the boot allows for a fair amount of lateral rotation and flexing at the ankle which, again, means they’re super comfortable out of the box, but for hard off-roading I’d want something a bit stiffer. And you get some elasticated shirring at the top of the shaft for a bit of extra comfort as you lean into the boot. I usually struggle with boots that are supposed to support the foot and the leg – skating or ski boots, for example – and can generally only wear them for 30 minutes or so without them beginning to hurt. The first time I wore them was for a five-hour cross-country and motorway jaunt and they felt as good at the end as the beginning. I also found that their sole was too soft and my feet were killing me after standing up on the pegs for longer periods. I was not a fan of the silver plastic finish though a quick once over with some black boot polish fixed that cosmetic difficulty. Both boots have three adjustable buckles which you can tighten or loosen to find a comfortable, snug fit. Also there is little or no heel impact absorption from the rear (important for high-side landings), and they don’t allow your lower legs to flex and rotate naturally causing spiral fractures + upper tib/fib fractures + busted knees.
