About this deal

Same approach was used for my wife's modular MTS helmet, although in this case the boom mic was used. Any similarly shaped small flat device should do if you don't have the original dismount key on you. Yesterday we were set to go for an all day ride to get some pie, have a burger and let the girls do a little wine tasting in backcountry Ramona.

Being motorcycle enthusiasts ourselves, we understand the importance of having reliable electronics when you're on the road. When I want to remove it from the helmet I always forget (until Jiffy-marker-ing an UP arrow) which way to push it off the helmet mount. This is done by holding the vol - and intercom button until the unit goes into pairing mode, and you repeat this on the other bridge unit. Good bits, phone conversation good at 50mph or less and person on the other end really impressed with quality, ease of use very good.We took off and almost immediately I was able to hear wind noise from her mic, however she reported my mic was quiet. It kills the audio of any non-LEXIN device that establishes the first direct bridge connection with you. I’ve tested the B4FM on an Icon Alliance helmet for sportsbike-style riding, and on a Shoei RF-SR helmet for standard cruise riding.

Not a big deal for me as I have a phone mount and can see the directions easily, plus Google maps talks to much lol.The process of going in and out of intercom mode whenever you need to say something to fellow ride buddies can get annoying. Universal pairing feature, compatible with most of the Bluetooth headsets or earpiece in the market. Just peel off the protective backing sheet of the 3M tape bracket and adhere the bracket onto the helmet. So a small 1/4" channel was cut into the cheek pad plastic retained and voila, successful installation.

So each motorcycle has one end unit, and one bridge unit, and the bridge units connect the 2 motorcycles. If you're like me and tend to shout loudly over exhaust pipes and road winds, you can easily pierce your buddy's ears. So I decided to mount it just outside the mouth area, behind the front area of the cheek pad where the mic is not completely covered.
